Kennedy Biscuit Lofts
Experience Historic Living in the Heart of Cambridge
For over 100 years The F.A. Kennedy Steam Bakery turned out such treats as the Lorna Doone, 5 O'Clock Tea and of course the Fig Newton.
Today, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and home to 142 unique apartment homes. The mill-style building, constructed in 1875, now houses a variety of sun-drenched living spaces including one and two bedroom apartments, three bedroom townhouse duplexes, and artist's lofts.
Architecture
The building's original architectural details include expansive ceiling heights, oversized windows, exposed brick walls, columns, and beams that have all been incorporated into these spacious, open apartments. Each renovated home offers quality finishes and interesting details while preserving the historic character of the former bakery
